Parents Don't Need Fixing,

They Need More Support.

Village Tenders

Build a Parent & Baby Support Group in Your Community

(without reinventing the wheel)

The Village Tenders postpartum community care course is an 8-week training designed to help you confidently create a local, in-person parent and baby support group in your neighborhood.

This isn’t just about organizing meetups.

It’s about building a sustainable, nourishing community, without burning yourself out.

🌎 Why Now?

There has never been a more important time to gather parents and babies in real life.

We are starved for human connection.

We are saturated with screens, headlines, and noise.

We are living in an era of hyper-individualism, where families are expected to “figure it out” on their own.

And yet… we are wired for interdependence and community joy.

Grassroots movements, neighbors gathering, mothers sitting in circles, babies on blankets, shared meals, shared tears are what actually strengthen the fabric of society.

Leadership right now doesn’t look like a three-piece suit in a corporate office.

It looks like someone who says:

“This matters. Families matter.”

To be a leader is to stand behind your values.

To tend to your village.

To create spaces where newborn parents feel held instead of isolated.

To give children the experience of growing up surrounded by caring adults and community joy.

We’ve heard enough bad news.

Creating a parent & baby group is not small work.

  •  It is protective work.
  •  It is preventative work.
  •  It is culture-shaping work.
  • It is a salve for the state of the world.

And practically speaking?

It is also a business model that can only grow:

It strengthens your professional reputation.

It creates meaningful referral pathways, connections, and collaborations.

It expands your impact on families with extended support, more visibility and more value.

It deepens your community roots.

It builds long-term sustainability and predictability in your work.

You are not just hosting a class.

You are building infrastructure for community connection.

And families are ready.

We believe that when new parents feel acknowledged, resourced, and a sense of belonging, their health and well-being can truly flourish.

We don't just believe it, we know it.

That’s why we teach others the skills they need to facilitate weekly gatherings to support parents in the early months.

Because right now, there simply isn’t the village support we all need to raise newborns and small humans…

So we’ve got to create it!

Add parent & baby classes as a second stream of income.

Birthworkers, postpartum care providers and village tenders can easily add in local parent and baby groups after our course.

It's not only a full course in how to facilitate parent and baby groups, it's also a full curriculum and business framework so you don't have to reinvent the wheel.

We offer models of sliding scale, pay it forward, fiscal sponsorships, how to add these groups to registries, employer-funded creative benefits, crowdfunding, local community funding, trades, and more.
